What
can you say about the Inception DVD?
Masterpiece? Best movie in the last 10 years?
Perhaps.... I know some people will argue that
Avatar is a better movie than Inception - but I
beg to differ. Avatar may have had ground
breaking graphics and cgi, but I feel I've seen
that movie before (Ferngully anyone?). Inception
on the other hands has never been done before.
I'm not even sure what genre to filter it into.
Sure you could say Sci-Fi due to the fact that
it involves bending reality and shaping worlds -
but since it all takes place within a dream
setting is it truly sci-fi? One things for sure
this movie is an adventure from the first minute
to the last. Plus, in typical Nolan fashion it
let's the viewer decide for themselves the
outcome of the movie. I won't get to far into
plot details because I don't want to spoil the
movie for those who haven't seen it.

What comes with
the Inception DVD?
Depending on which version of the
Inception DVD you get you will be treated to different
bonus features and special features. If you are
planning on purchasing the standard DVD, which
by the way is a STEAL at less then 10$ from our
site you will be treated to four awesome special
features. You will get into the director
(Christopher Nolan)'s mind as he describes how
he shapes his idea for the movie and turned it
into an on screen roller coaster. You will also
be shown the in's and out's of how they created
some of the CGI scenes and props - such as the
freight train and the "staircase to nowhere"
again if you don't know what those things are
then you are in for a treat and I wont spoil
you. Once you watch the movie you will know
exactly what I'm talking about. You're not going
to want to miss those special features.
The run-time on the Inception DVD is a
seemingly long 148 minutes, but let me tell you
it flies by, 148 minutes will not feel like
enough. Once the credits roll you will be
thirsting for more. Some movies can barely cary
a 90 minutes run time but Inception is a huge
exception to this rule, every minute is
rightfully present. Again I have to go back to
the price of this DVD, for less than ten bucks
you get 148 minutes of movie combines with 4
specials features. Finally, I'd like to touch on
"re-watch value". To me when I purchase a movie
one thing I really care about is how many times
I can watch this movie before I get tired of it.
Let me just say that I can not watch this movie
enough! Since I've purchased it I've watched it
5 times and each and every time I am thoroughly
entertained. I also constantly notice new things
every time I watch. Nolan is known for his sudle
attention to detail, so expect to get further
and further engulfed in the movie each time you
watch.

My final thoughts on the Inception DVD:
To summarize my thoughts from above as short
as possible, I'll try my best to rate this movie
on a number scale combining everything from
entertainment value to price. For like 8 bucks
you can own, in my opinion, the best movie of
the last 5 years. On a scale from 1-10 the
Inception DVD is a solid 8.5. In conclusion: What are
